Street Scene

Oil pastel on paper.   I have been learning a little about Edward Hopper and his many street scenes (such as Nighthawks and Early Morning Sunday) in addition to Lauren Harris’ city works such as A Row of Houses, Wellington Street  and the Harlem Renaissance.  This pastel is an imaginary corner inspired by these works.
