After spending several weeks learning about Alberto Giacometti I completed a painting loosely ignited by his work. I was intrigued by the elongated forms of both his paintings and sculptures, which I applied in the woman seated (head, neck and extremities). If interested in learning more about Giacometti try watching an online video, one that started me on a journey that lead to the local library and eventually this painting.
